Lizi Latimer is a filmmaker and casting director based in Brooklyn and London. She recently cast a French-American film produced and shot in Paris this Spring 2025. Lizi is currently writing two original screenplays, and writes for directors in film, television, commercial & music video production. Raised by outspoken New Yorkers in the redwoods of Northern California, Lizi grew up surrounded by nature and manypersonalities. She suspects this is why she loves to work with all types of creatives. Her original work includes screenplays; plays produced in San Francisco and New York; and most recently, an award-winning short film she co-wrote and co-directed titled, Dead Serious, starring Jessica Hecht. Dead Serious is currently premiering at multiple festivals in 2025 including — Brooklyn Film Festival, Nantucket Film Festival, NoBudge, and more.
When she’s not at a computer, she is jogging by water or staring into the eyes of a portrait at Jack Shainman Gallery.
